My name is aliesha Genevieve
I like to bake.
I like to bake so much that I made it my full time job. Since I was little girl learning to bake alongside my mother and grandmother (Genevieve), the art and magic of pastry has held a grip on my heart.
Now I get to work out of my own kitchen every day, crafting cakes and desserts, always experimenting with new recipes, ingredients, and styles. You’ll find me in a linen apron listening to Billie Marten or a D&D podcast, sipping matcha, and taking an occasional break to eat rotisserie chicken or go for a long run.
It is my greatest joy to collaborate with clients, couples, planners, and other vendors to create a truly excellent and unique experience.

This classic celebration dessert has lost much of its craft to the tragedy of dry and over-sweet grocery store monstrosities. (The drama! Actually, we appreciate grocery store cake :))
But cake is more than sugar and butter. It’s a memory, a photograph, a milestone—and a flavor experience that will probably have your fiance who “hates cake” saying, “Wait, this is actually really d*mn good!!”

As a small business based out of Aliesha’s home in Hillsborough, NC, Genevieve Pastry intertwines with local community. We source seasonal ingredients and fresh florals from local farmers, passionate to work alongside these small businesses to foster sustainability and excellence within a community of mutual support.
While offering delivery to events beyond the Triangle area, Genevieve Pastry will always remain deeply connected to Hillsborough, where we continue to offer desserts daily at Yonder Southern Cocktails and Brews, put on pop-ups and Dwell and Eno River Brewing, and host group cake decorating classes at Aliesha’s kitchen.
